Established in 1980, A&D Motorcycles was created by Alan Shepherd. After purchasing a new motorcycle, it ran out of petrol 3 miles away. When he eventually got home the oil light came on and after being continuously fobbed off by the dealership he thought “I can do better” and A&D Motorcycles was born 6 months later. He initially rented a 450 square foot unit on the Spencer Trading Estate in Denbigh for £25 per week. The drive he needed was a customer on the open day, saying I give it a month! In 1986 new premises were built across the road including a new workshop. Then in the year 2000 moved to our current premises a 5,800 square foot former animal feed warehouse.
Now a leading motorcycle dealership in North Wales and the North West of the UK, we are located in Denbigh, North Wales. Only 25 minutes from Chester, Wrexham and Llandudno, we are situated within arguably the best biking roads in the UK.
We are main dealers for Kawasaki as well as stocking a large range of quality used bikes.
